Bakang Thabiso Keitumetse | Botswana Bakang Thabiso Keitumetse is a social innovator and seasoned broadcaster with more than a decade of experience in civic engagement and radio and television broadcasting at the national level. Currently, Bakang serves as the concept accelerator at Convo Lounge, which specializes in knowledge generation and application in partnership with brands operating within three key areas: experiential events, media, and education. Previously, Bakang was a media personality and hosted shows that discussed different issues affecting young people in Botswana. Through Convo Lounge he launched a podcast to further extend his reach and impact. Bakang is motivated to realize his potential and purpose in life by applying his experience, knowledge, and expertise to contribute to the development of young people in Africa. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Bakang plans to design and implement programs that will further contribute to the development of African youth. He also plans to grow Convo Lounge's impact to offer solutions to youth unemployment in Africa.
